China’s electric vehicle revolution is in full swing as domestic car manufacturers gear up to challenge the world’s leading players, with innovative technologies, latest models and batteries showcased at the 20th Shanghai International Automobile Industry Exhibition, also known as Auto Shanghai 2023.
Themed “Embracing the New Era of the Automotive Industry,” the exhibition kicked off on Tuesday and displays more than 1,500 vehicles with two-thirds of them being electric ones, defining the “new era” as the “electric-powered era.”
